Stress free licenses! We are here to help all the time! We have a range from 25 yards to yards at our exotic ranch to make sure you are on target before you hunt. Military full metal jacket, hollow points, and ballistic tips are NOT good rounds to use on alligators. You are welcome to bring your own weapon of choice, or use ours. You may hunt with rifle, handgun, bow, crossbow, bang stick, muzzleloader, or spear. We use a variety of hunting vehicles for alligators such as 4x4 trucks, ATVS, airboats, and swamp buggy.

The vehicle we use depends on the property we are hunting, and water level on that property. Party size, gator size wanted, and time of year will also be considered when choosing hunting transportation.

We do NOT Guarantee a method of hunting or type of transport! Public land hunts will have lots of competition for the same gators an outfitter would be looking for with a limited season. On private land hunts you may use rifle and hand guns to kill your gator, and hunt day or night. Where public land hunts no rifle or forearm at all may be used, and your time window by law is only at night most times.

On our private land hunts you will AVOID tangled lines with others, limited time, only small gators, not being able to have a firearm, limited season, and no speeding boats blasting by on the hunt.

Simply said YES! That's why you are hiring us,to get an alligator. Anyone can go for a walk in the woods, or take you for a ride on a boat. You won't here us say the moon is to bright, the temperature is to cold, or you didn't get one because you was not hunting correctly. We don't give excuses why you didn't get a gator, we just make it happen!

We hunt 7 days a week at any time. If you have a date or time that you need to hunt, please call us, and we will do our very best to accommodate you. We recommend bows with a 60 lb. Using a crossbow is similar to most other bow hunting methods. Now the alligator is on both the rod and the float line from the crossbow. At this point, many hunters will use a bangstick or other weapon incase the arrow did not finish the alligator off. Expect the smallest size alligator in your size-range, and you will not be disappointed if you get something bigger!

For example, choose the 6 to 9 foot size range if you will be happy with a 6-foot alligator. Your guide will look at the distance from the eyes to the tip of the snout to estimate length.

Typically, the longer that distance is, the bigger the alligator will be. If you have your heart set on an exact size alligator, unfortunately, we are not the right guide service for you. Look for outfitters that price alligators by an exact size instead of a size-range. If you wish to change or cancel your booking, you must notify us by calling at least 24 hours before your experience. If you need to cancel your experience, You may reschedule within one year of the original reservation date.

The Statewide Alligator Hunt is a highly sought after limited entry hunt; there are often more than 15, applicants that will apply for approximately 7, permits.

Each successful statewide alligator hunt applicant will receive an Alligator Trapping License, an area specific harvest permit, and two CITES tags, authorizing the holder to harvest two alligators. The harvest areas and hunt dates are specific for each permit, and the permit specifies the boundaries or limitations of the harvest area. The statewide alligator hunting season begins on August 15 and ends on November 1.

The first four weeks of the season are divided into four quota weeks, and each permit is assigned one of those weeks. Applicants who are awarded a Statewide Alligator Hunt permit will be charged automatically. A Florida hunting or fishing license is not required to participate in the statewide alligator hunt.
